Yellow Chenille Cardigan!

Woohoo we made it to Friday, y’all!!  It is officially time to bring out the stretchy pants and baggy sweaters, because we have 2 of our 3 Thanksgiving get-togethers this weekend!  I absolutely cannot wait!  I love getting to spend time with our families, playing games, and just chit-chatting with everyone.  I literally could eat casseroles every single day of my life and be the happiest girl in the world.  I feel like it’s a right of passage as a southerner.  You can pretty much make any food into a casserole dish and get away with it.  You’ve got sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, corn, hashbrown, etc.  One of my new favorites is carrot souffle!!  I know it sounds a little iffy, but it is seriously so stinkin’ yummy!  I had never had it until this past year, and I loved it!  We’re going to try making it for the first time, so wish us luck!  I also always make sweet potato casserole, and after 5 years, I think I’ve pretty much got that on lock.  It’s pretty easy to make, but it’s super time-consuming.  I just make whatever my mama tells me to haha!  We’re also adding a turkey and green bean casserole to our list this year, so Nathan and I are going to be a little busy in the kitchen, but we love cooking together, so it should be fun!

Speaking of comfy clothes, chenille is everywhere this season!  It is so soft it practically feels like you’re wearing a blanket around you!  You better believe I’m going to be wearing mine any chance I get.  The specific one I’m wearing in this post is from Loft , but it sold out super quickly, even after a restock.  Luckily, you can find similar ones at so many different retailers right now.  I’ve linked 10 or so different options below at the very bottom of this post for you to check out.

My Halogen mules are also sold out, but these Franco Sarto Selas are almost exact dupes.  This is another trend I’m loving at the moment.  They’re so comfortable, and easy to throw on with most any outfit.  My tassel necklace is from Loft, and I literally wear it with everything.  It’s so versatile and can be worn with anything from dressy outfits, to casual outfits like the one in this post, as well as leggings, a tee, and some boots.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and if you’re like us and beginning your Thanksgiving celebrations, I hope you have a great time with your family and friends!  Cheers to a short work week next week!  Click on any of the pics below to go right to the retailer’s website to shop any of these chenille cardigans.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
