My Christmas Wish List!

Happy Monday, my loves!!  I’m not sure where the weekend went, but all of my productivity apparently went with it…I just can’t seem to get motivated to finish the last bit of my Christmas shopping!  I knocked out a ton Black Friday weekend, and I literally haven’t bought a single thing since!!  This weekend I did manage to wrap some of the presents I already purchased, so that’s something.  I’m sure I’m not the only one needing to do some last minute shopping (come on people, tell me I’m not!!), so below I put together my Christmas list for this year.  We had to make three separate lists for different family gatherings, so I consolidated them into one big list below, and it is chock-full of all sorts of things from socks to pajamas to jewelry and clothes!  Hopefully this will give you some ideas on what to buy your best friend, sister, wife, or whoever the special gals are in your life!!  One of my good friend’s husbands asked me to pick some Christmas gifts our for her, and I had so much fun doing it!!  Being able to shop and not spend any of my money?!  That’s the best of both worlds haha!  Feel free to ask me if you have any questions about any of these items below, and I would love to help you out!  I’ll give some explanations of some of these items below the photos.

I also apologize for the fact that for some reason my blog isn’t letting me put spacing between my paragraphs tonight, so it looks like one humongous paragraph.  It’s spacing between some, but not all.  Just know I didn’t intentionally do that!  As y’all know, I’m technologically illiterate, so I ain’t even trying to spend hours trying to figure it out at midnight on a Sunday.

As y’all have probably figured out by now, I’m a pretty basic king of gal.  I’m definitely not a designer purse or shoe lover, while I have friends who won’t carry anything but, so to each her own!  I will literally carry the same purse for 2 years straight every season and not think twice about it, only switching it out for a clutch if we go out to dinner.  Gasp, as all the other bloggers stand open-mouthed at such a statement ha!  I like statement pieces, and I am willing to pay more for classic items that will last from season to season, like these Frye boots, but for the most part, I stick to your basic everyday pieces that have versatility.  That way you can mix and match high-low pieces and get a ton of different outfits out of just a few clothing or shoe items.

Last year, at the top of my Christmas list, were these fuzzy Sorel boots in the Elk color.  Right now, they are on sale for just $125, and these are seriously the warmest shoes!  They are a little on the bulky side, but they kept my feet warm last year in below freezing temps in the Breckenridge snow and are perfect for walking my dog in 30 degree temps, so I whole-heartedly recommend them if you’re in the market!  Here they are on Amazon in about 26 different colors!  I have some green Hunter boots that I’ve had for about 8 years now, and they are still in good condition, but I’ve had my eyes on some red ones lately!  I found some of the matte original tall boots on sale at Zappos for just $110, more than 25% off, so you better believe I sent that link right on over to my mama!  I wear these when it’s raining or just on a regular day to add a pop of color to my outfit.  They come in a ton of different colors, and these shinier gloss ones are also available in many colors, but they aren’t on sale right now.  I size down to a 7 in these from my normal 7 1/2.
I also asked for a couple pieces of jewelry that were good for everyday wear.  As y’all know, I’m all about statement pieces for that extra pop, but sometimes I like to keep things a little more classic.  I’ve been eyeing this gold Kate Spade initial necklace, so I knew it needed to be on my list. It is also offered in rose gold and silver if that is more your thing.  I also asked for this David Yurman cable bracelet.  I don’t have any other Yurman bracelets, so I felt like this would be a good starter for me.  I think it would be perfect paired with this Kendra Scott Elton bracelet along with other cuffs or bracelets/watches.  I asked for it in the iridescent/drusy gold, so fingers crossed I get it!  It comes in 8 different colors/metals, so there is one for everyone’s style or preference.
I’m all about soft, cozy things right now, so I saw this Free People scarf, and immediately added it to my list!  I asked for the neutral, dark pink, or heather gray color.  It’s such a classic scarf that will last for years to come.  The biggest selection is at Nordstrom, but I also found select colors on sale at Macy’s, Belk, and Zappos.  Nordstrom is usually very good about price matching, but I’m not sure how it works with color offerings honestly.  It is worth a shot to call in and see if they will match the price at one of those 3 other retailers if the color you want is only offered at Nordstrom right now.  They did this for my Spanx faux leather leggings (which should be at the top of every woman’s Christmas list this year!!) when Anthropologie had them marked down to 30% off before Nordstrom dropped their price.  The Spanx site has them available in 6 different colors, but at regular price.  Just call in and say you would like a price match, and that so-and-so website is offering them at whatever price.  Nordstrom is usually really good about doing this with almost any item!  TopShop offers a similar scarf in red for just $18 if you are looking for something a little cheaper and shorter.
I also asked for this super comfy looking sherpa pullover from Amazon, because it looks like it may be the most comfy thing I will ever put on my body!  It will be perfect to throw on with jeans or leggings and go, or just to wear around the house.  Speaking of comfy, I asked for these pajama shorts and thermals in the multi fair isle.  Some patterns are selling quickly, so jump on them fast!  I actually bought these red striped Aerie Sleep Leggings this weekend, because they were on sale for just $16 + free shipping, and they looked so stinkin’ comfy!  Any of these items would be perfect for the homebody in your life, or just for someone who loves soft cozy things.
Y’all know I couldn’t resist adding a few leopard pieces into the mix.  As if I need any more…Hey, leopard is a neutral in my book, so it’s a totally versatile pattern!  I am loving this BP leopard scarf, and Old Navy has a similar one for just $15, depending on which pattern you like more.  The Old Navy one is also offered in a ton of other different patterns.  I am also obsessed with this leopard beanie so much right now, and it’s less than $9!  Y’all know my dilemma with my fro hair and beanies, but sometimes I’m able to tame this mop and actually rock one.  Some of my absolute favorite beanies are these CC cable ones.  I have about 5 different colors, and I found them at Wal-Mart for less than $16 + free shipping!  I love this pom pom style in the light gray and mustard colors, as well as this slouchy style in the oatmeal color.  Amazon also offers the CC brand with free shipping for all you Prime members.  Any of these beanies or scarves would be great stocking stuffers!  I’m sure you’re tired of my rambling now, but hopefully this was helpful if you were stumped on gifts for any of the ladies in your life!  Thanks for coming to visit, friends!!
