Hello, FALL!!!

Well, Monday, we meet again.  I have a feeling this is going to be a looong week. We just got back yesterday from spending 8 days at the beach, and we had the best time with our families! This was the first year we combined both Nathan and my parents’ vacations, and it turned out great!  Our beach houses were across the street from each other, so it was super convenient. Our walk to the beach took about 30 seconds, and we could sit on our balcony and watch the waves crash on the shore.  It was the perfect, much-needed, relaxing getaway.  I’ll do a post later in the week with lots of pics and info on where we stay every year!

While we were at the beach, I suckered my poor brother into taking some pics for my blog and Instagram. He does photography as a hobby and is ridiculously good at it, so I was happy he actually agreed to do it for me! I’ll be sprinkling some of the outfits we shot into my feed in the next couple weeks. Now if I could only get him to do this on a weekly basis…😉

I was so happy to come home yesterday to temps in the 70s and even more excited once I saw they would stay there most of this week! 🙌🏻 Folks, fall has finally arrived!!  Now it’s officially time to bring out all things pumpkin and all the fall decor.  I try not to go overboard and buy a ton of home decor for each season, but I do like to have a little touch of it in my home to be festive and change things up.

Speaking of fall, one of my fav wardrobe staples this time of year is anything gingham.  It just screams fall to me, and when I saw this dress on another blogger’s Instagram I knew I had to have it!  It is so stinkin’ cute, you could easily add a vest or cardigan to it, and best of all, it is so affordable and on sale right now for $18!!  I can’t wait to wear it all season long, so get ready to see it more than you would probably like to around here 🤷🏼‍♀️  It has the cutest tie back, which just adds to the appeal for me.  I am wearing a small, and it fits well for the most part.  It is a tad bit tight in the upper arm and shoulder area, but the tie back helps to alleviate that a bit.  If you are between sizes, I would size up to be on the safe side.  The length is great on me, not too short or long.

I absolutely love these earrings, and they add the perfect pop of color to this outfit.  They are a great statement earring that would add that extra bit of interest to any outfit, dressy or casual.  You could just as easily wear them with jeans, a tee, and a scarf.  They come in 7 different colors and are only $34!  Have a great week, y’all!
